I’ve legit seen a wife who hasn’t had sex with her husband in 5 years be genuinely shocked and crushed that he’s having an affair. This level of cognitive dissonance is bugged out to me 🤣
I want to be rich. But not Lamborghini
or Rolex rich, I want to be rich enough to go to the gym at 3pm and nobody can tell me no. To tap the family in front of me at the supermarket and say, "It's on me," Rich enough that my future wife never has to worry about getting a job. Rich enough to show my children the world, not pictures of it. Rich enough to take my friends to dinner and say, "| got this", Rich enough that God uses me to help the people who are in need. That's my version of rich.
I’ve realized true love isn’t about the highs, butterflies, or easy moments. It’s choosing someone even when it’s hard, when the spark fades and life gets tough, but you still show up. That’s real love.
Social media makes abandoning a relationship look incredibly glamorous. Your timeline is constantly filled with single people telling you to "cut them off," enter your "villain era," and "level up" the exact second the butterflies fade. People are violently throwing away perfectly good, loyal partners over normal human friction because the internet convinced them there is a flawless, aesthetic-perfect soulmate waiting on the other side of a breakup.
