@AmandaPCraig@hermionegingol1@NLebrecht@BBCr4today Funny (not funny) thing is we know Justin is very sensible from his Times columns. He is the best (least worst) of them but still manages to fall into “Today-think” much of the time.

@Outoftweet123@albertedwards99 Should ask if the Bank reads its own reports. Of course in the end funds were better off thanks to the higher yields. The media persistently (deliberately?) confused risk of these vehicles going bust and the risk to pension funds of going bust. There was no risk of the latter.
@albertedwards99 The icing on his shitty cake was the “I’m stopping support on Friday” announcement.
Of course yields are now 100bp higher than at the very peak of what I am going to call the Bailey bust.
@AmandaPCraig Ordered and my Kindle promises arrival tomorrow!
State of the W1 nation. A cyclist (Arab ?) nearly ran me over on Wigmore St just now. When I remonstrated he stopped came back and squared up to me. Being the tough guy I am LOL I stared him out while he swore to high heaven.
