What we had was awful and growing worse. Obamacare fixed some things like the pre-existing clause, but brought on so much bureaucracy that its ground the system to a standstill. It's hard to say of the status quo would have been better or worse, though. it's just that people could opt out completely and try to pay out-of-pocket.

If Republicans have a better plan they sure haven't shown it; but what's happening with TrumpRX doesn't give me hope.

You're not going to fix healthcare until you remove the ones fixing the prices. Considering they are major donors to both parties, how likely is that?
