NLB Upperclass wins opener at Perfect Game Freedom Classic.
NLB 16 Baseline Gray 4

Michael Gebel (Thomasville HS) worked 3 innings, scattered 3 hits, didn't allow an earned run and struck out 3. Evan Wallace (Bozeman HS) earned the win out of the pen. Wallace worked an inning and didn't allow a hit or run. Wallace, Baker Safley (Leon HS) (2), Juan Miguel Ruiz (Guatemala) (2), Leonard Conway Jr. (Port St. Joe HS), Walker Sparkman (North Florida Christian HS) and Bryce Bowers (Northview HS) collected hits. Conway doubled. Wallace (2), Brady Smith (Central HS), Safley, Ruiz, Conway, Brady Loebig (Belleview HS), Sparkman, Bowers (2), Carson Vogler (Freeport HS) (3) and Kiff Parrish (Thomasville HS) contributed RBI's.

NLB will continue pool play this morning.

NLB Upperclass finishes the Perfect Game Sunshine State Championships as the runner up to Sticks National.
Great Tournament, and NLB is very proud of the players and coaches.
Bunch of underdogs that play like they're trying to prove something every time they step on the field.
Several kids on NLB Upperclass will "toughness" their way to playing college baseball.
