Under his watch, hostility toward police grew, and officers were increasingly treated like the enemy instead of the people risking their lives to protect their communities.

Before Obama, there was far more respect for the badge. By the end of his presidency, cities were burning, officers were being ambushed, and the country was more divided over race and policing than it had been in years.

He didn’t heal old wounds — he helped tear them back open. He didn’t unite the country — he left it more divided.

The damage done to our unity, our police, and our faith in one another is something America is still paying for today.

Austin residents are killed or attacked by repeat offenders EVERYDAY, but the only time our leaders care is if it’s an ILLEGAL who gets hurt.

A look at the performative officials who have made Austin increasingly unsafe:

-Congressman Greg Casar: (former ATX city council member) voted to defund the police by $150 million and get rid of 180 police positions. He is now crying about an illegal who got shot, meanwhile he has nothing to say when Austin residents are hurt or killed by the very policies he passed.

-DA Jose Garza: Back in 2020 criminally charged 21 APD officers for using non-lethal munitions to disperse unruly BLM crowds who were shutting down the interstate.

Instead of prosecuting the rioters, the DA went after police who were trying to protect residents (big reason why we see lawless protesters taking over the streets with minimal pushback, police literally cannot do their job without fear of the DA prosecuting them).

-City councilman Mike Seigel: DSA-aligned council member, who gave CBS news false information immediately after the shooting of Wilber Perez, stating that he was shot “five times through the windshield”.

The information was out for hours, continuing to stoke rising tensions and was later quietly deleted when it was found out to be false.

This city is a mess and it’s disgusting that our elected leaders care more about illegals, over the Austin residents who are unsafe everyday.

I don’t buy the “we just needed a bigger lawn” story. In Islam, prayer is not neutral. When you line up salah on a place, you sacralize it. You mark it. A lot of people in this movement talk like once the prayer is established, that ground has been claimed for Allah, and the next step is to make the claim permanent.

So rent the high school field. Pray over it. Film it. Normalize it. Then come back next year. Then ask for the club. Then buy the campus down the road.

While everyone is focused on the ICE shooting in Austin, the City Council is quietly spending an insane amount of taxpayer money on lawyers to fight deportations.

It's tucked into Thursday's consent agenda so it can pass without a word of debate or controversy.

The money goes to two nonprofits, American Gateways and Catholic Charities, to provide what the City's own documents call "deportation defense."

It pays for:

1. Lawyers representing "detained and non-detained immigrants," including people ICE is actively trying to remove.

2. Coaching immigrants representing themselves in immigration court, helping them file motions and meet deadlines to stay in the country.

3. Legal work that helps immigrants obtain work permits.

4. Federal immigration filing fees.

Total bill to be approved: $854,872

City staff list one of the program's goals as helping clients "obtain and maintain public benefits."

Austin has already paid American Gateways $3.4 million since 2019, and after Thursday the four contracts will be authorized for up to $6.7 million.

Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims whose asses you bent over backward to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day.
