Even a charitable interpretation of the “disease” of thinking you’re the smartest person in the room comes with uncomfortable undertones.
And Jaylen’s been getting that stuff since before he was drafted. It isn’t fair to him.
It is so incredibly easy to poke at the actual basketball stuff when it comes to Jaylen Brown (off-ball defense, for example)
I do not understand why it has to go so far in the other direction.
It’s nasty.
There is an epidemic regarding how athletes are discussed and it stems from a lack of willingness to embrace critical thinking.
So much of criticism is just ad hominem attacks because people do not wish to or cannot properly analyze players by what happens in games.
Obviously trying to depress Brown’s value. It’s fair to question HOW valuable he is on the court, but “net negative?”

Love the Dailyn Swain pick for the Bulls. They crushed this draft.
Reminder that I'm doing live grades over at @sportingnews. It's currently updated through pick 15 and will have grades for all 30 picks in the first round:

I saw shortly before I started Global Wars that Lio Rush is the ROH Men’s TV Champion. Very happy for him. I’ve been a fan of Lio’s since I was at the ROH tapings where he won the Top Prospect tournament. I loved the indie version of Blackheart & have really loved this
