Nations are based in ethnicity – it has been this way since 'nations' became a thing. Before that tribes were also based in genetic similarity. There is no moral content in that. No-one is shaming Japan for being full of the Japanese, Nigeria for being Nigerian. Indian isn't more or less moral because it does or doesn't hand out passports to white people en-masse.

Being a nation founded in one ethnicity doesn't mean they can't accommodate and enjoy the presence of others – but it does mean if you change the foundation it is not the same nation.
