READ: "The Trump Environmental Protection Agency’s repeal of the Endangerment Finding – which asserted carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases threaten public health and welfare – is one of the most consequential actions of President Trump’s second term. Now, however, Department of Justice bureaucrats are sabotaging the legal basis for the repeal." https://t.co/vf7v3mWq9t

CLIMATE NARRATIVE CHALLENGED
Chris Martz says severe weather trends don't match the alarmist claims.
"We really are not seeing an increase in these extreme weather events... there's more people. It's not because they're worse." @ChrisMartzWX@stevegrubershow

Get a load of this! 🤣
Wisconsin Secretary of State Sarah Godlewski stated that climate change was responsible for the recent hailstorm in her neighborhood.
I am a meteorologist, so I fact-checked her claims.

Mexico President Claudia Sheinbaum, a climate scientist by training, makes a policy U-turn, now backing the development of shale gas deposits in her country (which means fracking, even if she avoided using that word — a taboo in Mexico — explicitly)

Americans, get ready to save more on cars.
The @WhiteHouse scraps Obama’s 2009 EPA rule.
The Trump Administration says it will deliver $1.3T in savings - including about $2,400 off new cars, SUVs, and trucks.
But @CFACT@CJRucker says the real number is closer to $4.7 trillion!
Holy smokes. 🤯
Dr. Steven Koonin, respected physicist and former Obama-era science advisor, obliterated Texas A&M’s Dr. Andrew Dessler at a panel hosted by the Civitas Institute covering the findings of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) climate report published last July.
During the Q&A session, Koonin noted that climate models, on average, produce about twice as much warming as observations show (which is a fact when models are tested against independent data that they are not artificially tuned to—that is, fudged to agree with).
Koonin went on to say that the scientific community has done a disservice to the public by misleading the masses with exaggerated claims. He argued that this has stunted economic growth in parts of the world and has raised energy prices.
Dessler’s response?
“Yeah, no, I mean, that’s buIIshit.”
Koonin snapped back and told him that he shouldn’t use that kind of language in that setting, especially as a tenured professor at a major university.
Dessler replied, “I’m sorry, but it is what it is.”
He then spends the next minute tripping over his words trying to spin the DOE report as “misleading,” and its authors as committing “scientific felonies” by not going through “peer-review,” and by omitting information.
Koonin, being witty, replied stating that Dessler himself omitted the fact that the quality of life has only improved as the planet as gotten warmer, and that it will continue to do so in the future.

Though a federal judge recently ruled that the report was assembled and carried out illegally (a pure political move), the science could still stand and be used to rollback regulations.
Lake Erie is now 96% ice covered - and climbing.
With arctic air entrenched over the eastern US, the lake is on track to reach 100% ice coverage within days. That would mark its first full freeze in 30 years.
Overall, Great Lake's total ice coverage is currently riding well above the 1973-to-present average.
And the freeze extends south, too.
Chesapeake Bay, between Maryland and Virginia, has also iced over, with a widespread 'walkable' freeze not seen in more than 35 years.
Another cold weekend means further ice advances to come.
