@JonKrawczynski@HPbasketball We went from the laughing stock in the league, perennial lottery team, and non-active destination to now B2B WCF and a good second round exit after some tough injuries. 3 years in a row watching basketball deep into May with our best playing just entering his prime at 25 in Aug.!
@_MNMuse He has to adapt his game like Kobe and MJ and start playing mid post game where the falls and energy expanded take less of a toll on his body. Especially when teams continue to double him on the perimeter and chase him off the line.
@ZachArvidson@DaneMooreNBA Any teams been doing it the last 3 post seasons...MAVs, Lakers, OKC and teams started doing it extensively in the regular season with Ant publicly claiming about it.
We need him to start low and come off picks to the top of the key and still have his dribble. MJ and Kobe like...
@DaneMooreNBA This has been happening for 3 years with trapping/doubling Ant. Our response has been 1 of 2 things...
1. Rely on Ant going God mode and breaking through it all and exerting maximum energy
2. Quick pass to the wing and Ant doing a spring DHO which usually leads to another trap.
@zdoughh@JonKrawczynski Or do what Kobe and MJ did when doubles were happening...go establish position in the block and play inside out and see where the double is coming and trying not to hockey rush through it from the perimeter!
@zdoughh@HoodieNaz_ It's been our issue that's held us from getting to the end...spurs are literally standing with defenders at the half court line waiting to double/trap ant like in elementary basketball and we have zero answer or adjustment.
I would love to see ant go to the low block and work
@jpohlkamp@theblockspot With as long of the season hockey is game wise and physicality, go to seading format to reward regular season wins to gain an advantage in the playoffs
