Main thing I wanted to fix here that would have taken me more time would be to hide the rotated view when you flip. Seeing the other side mirrored for a split second looks weird. Looking forward to more weekend projects!

After 2 and a half days of development, here's the result of my little weekend project. I built a simple screen that displays the values of all the properties from the class Monopoly game using React. Also implemented a flip animation when you click on a deed.

This was a lot of fun to do and a good exercise to get back into React. Originally planned a UX where you have to click on a property in order to flip it, but I thought this would suffice for now.

Next steps are making the UI more flexible, adding a JSON file that houses data that can be plugged in to show all of the non-railroad and non-utility properties. Railroads and utilities will be after that.

I have a desire to get back into React development and wanted to build something that wasn't too involved to be a month long thing, but a weekend project I could pump out quickly.

Overall I would like to make a full blown Monopoly board game helper where you could keep track of everything from the app, but for now this is fine. Results of just 1.5 hours of developing: made the UI skeleton and plugged in hard-coded values for Mediterranean Ave.
