Today is Intersex Day of Remembrance, also known as Intersex Day Of Solidarity. 💛💜
November 8th was chosen as the day to recognise this as it is the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a French intersex individual.
Intersex people deserve the right to make their own choices about their bodies.
#IDOR is important as it is a day for the intersex community and allies to join together to fight for bodily autonomy and to honour the voices of intersex people around the globe. #IntersexDayOfRemembrance
"If you can make somebody happy, by calling them "they" instead of "he" or "she" why not do it?"
Miriam Margoyles said a conversation with trans actor Zoe Terakes about gender neutral pronouns helped her realise how they can “make somebody happy”.
Together, we’re choosing #FactsOverFear in our children’s education.

So… apparently this actually needs to be said:
There are kids in your child’s #OntEd school who have two mommies or two daddies.
Educators are not going to pretend these families do not exist as a religious accommodation for your child.
Thank you for coming to my #EdTalk.
🌈We stand with our School Board Allies in their tireless work for ALL students and families.
