Welcome to Calgary, President @ZelenskyyUA.
A year ago, we stood together in Kyiv’s Sophia Square — the centre of Ukraine’s battles for liberty and celebrations of your freedoms.
My message then is the same as today: Canada will always stand with Ukraine.
Remember when American presidents appreciated Canada and the bond between their two nations?
How times have changed and IQs of presidents have plummeted. Just sayin’

Canada governing liberals have secured victories in three special elections on Monday providing a significant boost to PM, Mark Carney, and intensifying trade dispute with Trump.
This is ridiculous. These are terms you ask for from an enemy after defeating them in a world war.
That is how the USA now treats its 'allies'. And that is why every country in its right mind wants out of the relationship.
President Trump demands Canada change its French language, Quebec culture and Canadian identity as a condition for reversing tariffs.
This is no longer about a trade deal-it is about a takeover of Canada's sovereignty and identity.
This is why the US-Canada trade negotiations collapsed.
The US wanted to have control over the trade deals Canada was making around the world.
Furthermore, they wanted to use Canada (Canada's resources) as a leverage for their own deal and diplomatic activities around the world.
All while still restricting and tariffing Canada's access to the US economy.
If this was the case as Mark Carney claims, I fully support walking away from these negotiations. It's completely ludicrous and irrational.
I put together the key moments he explains it.
🇨🇦🇺🇸 Carney is pointing to the energy reality both countries share.
Canada supplies 99% of U.S. natural gas imports, 85% of its electricity imports, and 60% of its crude.
He says Washington may talk tough on trade, but it doesn’t want that tap turned off.
The dependence cuts both ways.
Canada needs the U.S. market, while any serious disruption would mean higher costs and tighter supplies on both sides of the border.
Ottawa can build alternatives, but neither side can easily walk away.
