WTH @turo. I did a search, found a car for my trip, started to book what looked like a great offer and it asked me to log in. I log in and the price immediately jumps $30. Haven’t seen that with a rental company.
Guess everyone's learning 2FA's a weak link if it relies on email when Outlook goes out, and they have no failover. Cough, @zoom. Can't login, can't access meetings, can't access support.
@Athan_K If the point is to mitigate job losses from automation, how would being more motivated, diligent or hard-working be of any use? The jobs won’t be there.
@MicrosoftHelps I just had a @microsofthelps tech suppot team try to walk me through a login issue that generated "too many password attempts". So they told me to try again tomorrow. TRY AGAIN TOMORROW.
Now *that* is technical support.
I've had a support request for Windows11/Office365 for 19 hours, @MicrosoftHelps, and no response. I'm completely locked out of my computer, and @MicrosoftHelps calls that "minimum business disruption", so no support. 19 hours and no reply.
@MicrosoftHelps This is unacceptable. I just spent an hour on the phone with a support team that did not understand the problem, and told me to wait until tomorrow to try again. What the hell is going on with Microsoft?
I've been locked out of my Windows11 desktop for 12 hours after Windows 11 refused my password--the same password currently working on my mobile.
@MicrosoftHelps designated this a "C" issue--meaning minimum business disruption. No call back. No response.
@SaltSecurity Is your report what led to plug-ins being killed? It looks like plug-ins were shut off only 6 days after your report. OpenAI claimed it was because CustomGPTs make them redundant. ??
Now I'm also seeing real-time web search sharply limited on GPT.
Will Actions be killed next?
@dejavucoder It's interesting--I don't see a lot of discussion about this, and it seems like kind of a big deal. Using a plug-in is much easier than building a Custom GPT. Makes me wonder if we'll see a similar pullback on CustomGPTs when the next shoe drops on Salt Labs' research.
@GoProductivly Did anyone notice that plugins were discontinued?

OpenAI says they were discontinued because they were rolled into GPTs. Maybe coincidental, but less than a week earlier, Salt Security released a paper identifying security issues with a lot of plugins.
@LaillaElgohary@ycombinator After pitching a lot of VCs, I came up with a metric: How quickly do they tell you what you're doing is wrong. Current record is 15 seconds. The words hadn't left my mouth about the product category we were in before he told me we should be doing something else.
@beezkneezs It's real. Threat coming from s. near Bonita, moving n. towards el cajon. If you have a bike helmet, get it. If you start hearing heavy winds, get to a central room in your house, away from windows. Closet or bathtub is good. If house starts to shake, put helmet on.
