@goldbergkc What a shame, but this is what happens when you continually try to use a closer with a 6.33 era. Not sure if the Royals have caught on yet, but Lange is not a very good pitcher. The numbers make that alarmingly clear and have all season.
@goldbergkc There's being patient, and then there is what Collins does in consistently watching strike three go by without any effort to take the bat off his shoulder. His AB turned that inning around, though we didn't deserve to win after the unlucky loss of Lugo.
@jazayerli Yes, but the larger criticism is lineup construction, and again we did not produce offensively. We won because pitching put up a zero. Lineup construction and Q's management of it continues to be a problem. But good to get a win, and good for Salvy.
@KCSportsGuru1@royalsreview Bobby's wasn't as bad as the other two, but after you fall behind, you know the sweeper is coming. Shorten your swing and go with the outside pitch to right field instead of still trying to pull it. You won't make contact if you try to pull it. But hey, at least he swung the bat
