These are just the examples we know about that became public. How many journalists like myself, Sharyl Atkisson, Catherine Herridge & so on were blackballed behind our backs? The media think this only works one way - they can choose not to cover Trump’s speeches or his rallies or his achievements and no one can hold them to account. He just has to take it & let them walk all over him in the name of a “free press”? They can report one false story after another, stories that generate YEARS of coverage like Russia collusion or the fake Climate Change scam - and they never have to correct the record or print the truth? I am angry today. And I need to say this plainly.

I recently followed up with someone I encountered in a general conversation here on X. I learned they had arrived in the United States in February 2026 and had relocated from Ohio to Florida. They were living approximately an hour from me.

I reached out because I wanted to understand their situation and see whether The Bridge to Liberty could help.

I was told, “I can’t do this anymore.”

Then they went silent.

Today, I learned they have decided to leave the United States and return to South Africa.

And I have to ask:

IS GOING BACK TO A COUNTRY WHERE SERIOUS VIOLENCE AND THE RISK OF LOSING YOUR LIFE ARE VERY REAL TRULY BETTER THAN FIGHTING FOR YOUR FREEDOM HERE IN AMERICA?

I am struggling to understand that choice.

I work with people who were approved, made plans, uprooted their lives, and then were told they were INELIGIBLE. People who are desperate for the opportunity this person had.

And yet someone who actually made it here has reached the point of believing that going back is their only option.

PLEASE HEAR ME: DO NOT WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE AT THAT POINT.

If you came to America through the refugee program and you are struggling, reach out.

If you need a job, ask.

If you need housing, ask.

If you need transportation, ask.

If you need help navigating your situation, ASK.

The Bridge to Liberty has people and contacts across this country. We may not be able to solve every problem, but we can try to connect you with someone who can help.

There are people on X who will stand beside you.

But we cannot help someone who disappears.

America is not easy. Nobody promised that it would be.

Those of us who live here fight for our families, our communities, our livelihoods and our freedoms every single day.

FREEDOM ISN’T SOMETHING YOU RECEIVE ONCE AND THEN NEVER HAVE TO FIGHT FOR AGAIN.

So before you decide that America is too hard and that returning is your only choice:

REACH OUT.

Don’t disappear.

Don’t suffer in silence.

Don’t assume nobody cares.

Give us the opportunity to try.

Because there are people fighting desperately to get here who would give almost anything for the chance you have.

And for every person who has been deemed INELIGIBLE despite doing everything they were asked to do, I will keep fighting.
