This visual, released by the militants, shows the two in their captivity and pleading to be rescued. The authorities must act immediately and rescue them before any untoward incident happens. The merciless murder of two teenage students Linthoingambi and Herojit is still fresh in our memory.

1 was released but the other 2 still remain untraceable.
The released meitei youth showed signs of torture.

#KukiTerrorists have released a video of the 2 youths being held in a hostage like situation where they are seen requesting the CM to expedite their release.

In the YouTube channel where #KukiTerrorists have uploaded the video, a comment has come up mentioning Mark T Haokip (who is currently under custody) in relation to these kidnappings.

Such acts of kidnapping and the release of a video, reminiscent of other terror outfits, marks a serious escalation in the ongoing Manipur crisis.

This hostage like situation needs to be addressed swiftly and decisively.
