Fitzgibbon biggest flaw has been he hasn’t bread his strong junior base into the team and just been content with a Winning game percentage every year . He is now stuck with a high end roster that needs movement and his team is going to be stuck with young kids short of top end experience .

He needs to find the storm panthers model , in my opinion sharks have the best junior or base outside those two clubs to be winners Storm do it through Qld panthers through Western Corridor and nsw west Sydney , the sharks have that huge south corridor and just don’t tap it

If you account for total eyeballs on each match the NRL is killing AFL when combining Tv and crowds , the AFL have larger capacity venues and the game isn’t friendly to TV as the game is played away from the ball a lot of the time .

The only reason the AFL can command comparable TV rights money is because the ball out of play is considerably higher and the game goes for longer with all the stoppage which provides for more advert revenue opportunity during the game .
