🚨BREAKING: Newly released FBI records obtained by Judicial Watch reveal that Deputy Kinlee Hoyle had two email exchanges with Thomas Matthew Crooks prior to the July 13, 2024 assassination attempt on President Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Day care is causing the ADHD epidemic.

That’s the provocative take from psychotherapist Erica Komisar on John Anderson’s podcast. She argues that putting very young babies into long hours of daycare creates chronic stress that flips the brain’s stress switch (the amygdala) on way too early.

It goes into hypervigilant mode, eventually burns out, and leaves kids in a constant low-level fight-or-flight state, which gets labeled as ADHD.

She says there’s no strong genetic cause for ADHD. It’s largely a response to the environment we’re putting kids in.

This one really made me pause. We’re wiring tiny brains for survival mode before they’ve even had a chance to develop properly.

If much of the ADHD explosion is coming from early chronic stress and separation, then rethinking daycare norms and early childcare could dramatically improve kids’ mental health long-term.

Elon Musk schedules his entire day in 5 minute blocks. Every single minute is assigned a task before the day starts.

His assistant controls the calendar. Every meeting, every meal, every phone call, every bathroom break is plotted into 5 minute slots. If a meeting is scheduled for 15 minutes, it ends at 15 minutes. No exceptions.

He eats almost every meal during meetings. Not because he enjoys it. Because allocating 30 separate minutes to eating feels like waste when those minutes could serve two purposes at once.

He splits his week between companies. Monday and Thursday at SpaceX. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at Tesla. Weekends split between SpaceX and whatever crisis is loudest.

He doesn't choose what to work on each morning. The calendar already decided. He just moves from block to block like a machine executing code.

This sounds inhuman. It is. He's said repeatedly that his schedule is not something he'd recommend to anyone. He's described his work life as painful. He nearly broke down crying in an interview because he couldn't take a week off in 12 years.

But the system works for output. He runs 6 companies simultaneously. Tesla. SpaceX. Neuralink. The Boring Company. xAI. X. Each one would be a full time job for a normal CEO.

The lesson isn't to copy his schedule. It's to understand that the people producing 10x more output than you aren't working 10x harder. They've eliminated every minute of decision fatigue about what to do next. The calendar decides. They execute.

Starting July 1, Florida will begin rolling out a major change to driver's licenses and state ID cards: your citizenship status will now be printed directly on the card.

The change is part of HB 991, Florida's version of the SAVE America Act, which Governor DeSantis signed in April. Beginning next month, new licenses and renewals will indicate whether the holder is a U.S. citizen or holds another legal immigration status. Current license holders will not need to make a special trip to the DMV, as the change will be applied automatically at their next renewal or replacement. Anyone who becomes a U.S. citizen can get a free updated card reflecting their new status.

The broader law also eliminates student IDs, retirement community IDs, debit cards, and public assistance IDs as acceptable forms of voter identification. Candidates running for federal office must now disclose whether they intend to trade stocks while in office, and all candidates must affirm U.S. citizenship and disclose any dual citizenship. The full suite of voter registration and election code changes takes effect January 1, 2027, though the driver's license provision kicks in next month.

Critics say the law will disproportionately burden naturalized citizens and legally present immigrants, while supporters call it a common-sense modernization of identification standards. <<<--- this won't burden me.
