🗳️@RishiSunak@MichaelGove, this specially commissioned political ad is one YOU need to watch 🗳️
@FreeLeasehlders brings you the voters this Government has to hold onto, to have any chance in the GE – Blue Wall Tories. (1/2) #FreeLeaseholders
The political influence of the property and land ownership industry in Britain is so great that it wangled an exemption for itself from the Consumer Rights Act 2015. It does NOT have to treat consumers fairly and it fleeces them all the time.
2/2 SC budget increase 43%, no audited certified accounts since 2020! Every year s20b used to avoid accountability and transparency of actual costs. Obfuscation. Broken lift and intercom front door unsecure - 6 months to repair. Emergency lights outage since 2021. Wild west sham.
@EOCS_Official@PeteApps We've no remedial plans. HPL cladding, BS, structural issues. #SafetyCaseReport 4 new charges 43%⬆️ SC for 22 leaseholders by LivGroup- LongHarbour. Too small for BSF, big enough for SCR🔍 Escape time: 3mins from top⬇️street. Disproportional unreasonable! Rookie builder's victims
✍️ @PeteApps "As it stands, of 3,839 buildings above 11 metres being monitored by the government due to the need for cladding remediation, 2,286 have not even started works yet.
This is also almost certainly an undercount of the total number of buildings which need to be fixed"
@LiamSpender Water ingress from broken pipe, interior damage reported Nov 2021, repair botched, 2 years later unresolved, tenant reported to Liverpool City Council, who LivGroup gave 21 days to sort. Believe taking the council to court is good use of our SC!
@LiamSpender@RFAssociation No audited, certified service charge accounts since 2020: financially unaccountable with non-transparency of costs. Annual use s20bs to obfuscate. Leaseholders repeatedly requested, Long Harbour fully aware complicit silence.
8/8 The @RFAssociation could not care less about the quality of service from managing agents because they are not the ones dealing with the consequences.
Regulation would help, but unless and until freeholders take responsibility for their agents nothing will change.

I see @RFAssociation quoted with their new misleading line about all the ills of leasehold being down to managing agents.
It may come as surprise to them that they have the power to sack the managing agents they appoint.
Govt's own estimates say that 10,000 buildings need to be remediated.
❌ They've managed to fix 800 in 6.5 years. That's less than 10 %.
🚨 At this rate, it will take DECADES to fix the #BuildingSafetyCrisis
#leaseholders have been lobbying MPs for years over the defects, awful living conditions, spurious elevated service charges, etc caused by #leasehold.
But they've not been listening... that is... until... @BarryGardiner.
He's only gone and created a bloody documentary.
Today makes day 21 without hot water and heating for part of our building. Residents' mental health shattered, even for the ones with hot water who constantly wonder when they'll be next @vickyfoxcroft@michaelgove@LewishamCouncil @luhc @itvnews@BBCNews
@P4DA@dannybster@HarryScoffin Only read this yesterday⬇️ hope this inspirational lady, who found freedom and kindness in rebuilding her life, gives you hope. 🙏Your mind dances once more, embrace the adventure and ✍️ through the pain, this is not your making. @Benfogle
