A hedgehog deliberately sprayed blue and yellow with paint in England has died despite days of intensive care. Rescuers said the thick paint glued her spines together, preventing her from curling up, and caused severe breathing problems from toxic fumes. The hedgehog, named Honey, was painstakingly cleaned spine by spine but did not survive.

Police have arrested two men and two teenagers on suspicion of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal. They have been released on bail while the investigation continues.

A family in Jieyang, Guangdong, abused and killed their dog "Wangwang". The parents of five scoundrels brazenly posted photos of a mother dog, Wangwang, and her three puppies directly on their storefront as a signboard to provoke the public. They even blatantly included despicable phrases like "Live Burning Wangwang" and "Burning the Mother Dog" on their menu!

Pomme avait survécu à une capture accidentelle dans une cage à renard, en Seine-Maritime. Elle n'était ni malade ni blessée. L'État l'a transférée dans les Alpes dans la précipitation, malgré les recours déposés pour s'y opposer. Dans la nuit du 16 au 17 juillet, un lieutenant de louveterie l'a abattue d'un tir présenté comme un « tir de défense légal », une version que contredisent formellement les données de son collier GPS, qui établissent qu'elle n'était pas responsable des attaques qui lui sont imputées.

Le loup est une espèce strictement protégée au niveau européen. Céder aux pressions de syndicats agricoles qui exigeaient sa mort dès son arrivée dans les Alpes, en ignorant les données scientifiques disponibles, c'est bafouer à la fois la loi et le bon sens.

La Fondation Brigitte Bardot exige que les circonstances de ce tir fassent l'objet d'une enquête transparente. Pomme méritait un autre destin.

普段から少年たちに叩かれたりして居場所を変えて下水溝にいたと。誰かに飼い犬として保護してもらいたかった。時間の問題だったのでは。人を信用していた穏やかな優しい子、旺旺。若いお母さん犬なのに自分がどんなに酷い目にあっても力を振り絞って子犬を最後まで守ろうとした。さらに虐待を続けて嘲笑う輩。その少年たちにお母さんがいることも驚きだ。自分たちやお母さんに火をつけられたら？平気なの？
動物保護法の制定を強く望みます。
