might i suggest not playing (or at least paying for) fortnite anymore? they're taking money from and giving "good" PR to a company whose business model is causing mass suffering and death. SEEMS BAD
Shell is working with creators on Fortnight as part of its task of "giving millennials a reason to connect emotionally with Shellโs commitment to a sustainable future."
I am certainly connecting emotionally but perhaps not in the way Shell wants me to https://t.co/46tD6QJHqH
who knows how long i'll be announcing this on this hellish app, but i'm LIVE playing NOT MASS EFFECT. come hang out if you want to see what it is! https://t.co/MMCcQwrUR6
the age of the renegade is about to come to an end. i'm playing the mass effect finale tonight starting at 7PM PDT. ::silent screaming:: https://t.co/MMCcQwrUR6
y'all. my employer has a policy against paying for certain foods at mtgs: "sugar sweetened beverages, including soda, juice w/ added sugars, energy drinks, sport drinks, or pre-sweetened coffee or tea" "fried foods, including French fries, potato chips, tortilla chips & donuts."
the bit i find extra super funny is the "pre-sweetened" coffee or tea. like tammy said, "we shouldn't allow sugar packets" and someone bravely stood their ground and said, "oh hell no, THAT is a bridge too far." LMAO
update: it went well! i felt heard and got a commitment that they're going to organize different conversations around using the BMI that include fat people and i was asked to participate in them (for better or worse! lol).
freaking out! my state's public health director offered to speak with me about my concerns with our the use of the BMI. i'm not a medical professional or a scientist. i'm just an average fattie existing in a fatphobic world. if anyone has suggestions of what to say, i'm all ears!
totally understand if you're avoiding news about lizzo, but if you want to learn about what's going on from someone who has fat people's best interests at heart, this is the one to read. thank you, @theverbalthing ๐
