We have a new collaboration with @emorwee that takes a look at the oil and gas industry's strategy to dismantle climate policy and boost fossil fuel production during a second Trump administration. More here: https://t.co/BYfh4FFObs
Trump has already established an EPA transition team led by two former fossil fuel lobbyists with “years of experience in dismantling environmental protections”

See, the Trump administration will protect access to clean air and water. Like it won't be widely available but definitely you will be able to access it somewhere

I’m an atmospheric scientist not a journalist. Don’t expect neutrality on science policy. You’ll find little argument among climate scientists that the setbacks & abdication of American climate leadership expected in the next 4+ years could spell a fatal blow to staying below 2°C
Trump’s re-election is the nail in the coffin for 1.5 degrees Celsius, the critical threshold past which the planet will experience significantly more extreme climate impacts, nine climate scientists and policy experts told us this week. https://t.co/nNT8xfW6vt
A note to Dem politicians and campaigns: You won't persuade voters with a one-off appearance on a popular podcast the week before the election (which is not a knock on Harris' campaign; she only had a couple months so they did all they could). The reason Republicans are winning over so many young people is because the right invests hours and hours, everyday, every month, every year in audience-building among its influencer class. We can't compete by sticking our candidates on an episode one time in October of an election year. Democrats need to embrace YEAR-ROUND progressive media (either directly political or political-adjacent) if we want to compete. But you cannot only remember independent media outlets exist 2 weeks before an election-- not in a media environment where the vast majority of Americans (and practically ALL persuadable Americans) are consuming content on alternative outlets.
