@chillman269 Nobody asked them to state a stance. They stated their stance and then virtue signaled that stance. If James had just kept it to himself, like his comments suggested he should, they would be dealing with this growing PR disaster.

@chillman269 ya i mean fair. I think the problem here is the hypocrisy of the band. They've taken political positions in the past, and the very act of abstaining vocally as Hetfield did is a political statement. He comes out, fundamentally, as a hypocrite. It's disappointing.
