@MaudsleyDoN@MaudsleyNHS Wishing all those who knew and loved Ramona comfort and peace at this difficult time. May the memories you made together help you through the days that lie ahead.
โThe pain passes, but the beauty remains.โ Pierre Auguste Renoir
In over 30 years of accompanying people as they navigate the ups, downs, roundabouts and cul de sacs of life whenever our paths cross and they reminisce every single story is based on how they felt or were made to feel at the time. The way we treat others will truly be our legacy
The quote from Craig Lounsebrough springs to mind, โAny new beginning is forged from the shards of the past, not from the abandonment of the past.โ
So hereโs to gathering up those shards and taking them forward as the basis to write the story which will forever be known as 2024.
Iโm sitting thumbing through the pages of 2023โs memories on my birthday. What a strange year it has been, not what I was expecting, in so many ways.
To all who are working over the festive period the Chaplaincy Team would like to thank you on behalf of all those who will rely on your help and expertise. You make a difference.
Wishing you and yours a peaceful and blessed Christmas. @MaudsleyNHS@MaudsleyDoN@simon_sherring
As we take our leave and turn to go back to our everyday lives may we offer that same love and welcome to all whose paths cross ours.
A peaceful and blessed Christmas to you and yours xx
As a babyโs cry rises above the chaos, commotion and noise of Bethlehem; as we wander into the stable to look for ourselves into his sparkling, dancing eyes - may tonight be a reminder that we are loved unconditionally and welcomed as we are by that little one.
As Christmas morning approaches I hope that happiness knocks on your door. That it arrives early, stays late and leaves behind the gift of peace, love, friendship and health with you and yours xx
