@mattforde Interesting comment. I attended a seminar at Liverpool Hope University tonight 16th January, where it was suggested that Tony Blair took the party to Middle class values, which was detrimental to the true working class. Certainly this is food for thought

People should look back to the 1981 Nationality Act, which abolished birth right citizenship (Jus soli) and replaced it with citizenship through descent (Jus sanguinis), thereby excluding children born in Britain to Commonwealth migrants
