Scott's first job right out of college was at Kyle Busch Motorsports. Scott always talked about how car smart Kyle was, and how good he was at mentoring young drivers. I feel so, so sorry for his family. Just devastating.
RIP Kyle. Thanks for giving Scott his start in NASCAR
We are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the passing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sport's greatest and fiercest drivers. He was 41 years old.
We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.
“See, what a morning, gloriously bright, with the dawning of hope in Jerusalem; folded the grave-clothes, tomb filled with light, as the angels announce ‘Christ is risen!’”
Why should we sing about folded up grave clothes? To make the comparison between Jesus and Lazarus. Lazarus was raised to the resumption of life. Jesus was raised triumphant over death.
Lazarus came forth from the grave, bound with linen strips and wrapped in a cloth (John 11:44). By contrast, the disciples saw the linen cloths of Jesus folded up in a place by itself (John 20:7). Nothing to unwrap. No one to unbind.
Jesus did not struggle to get free. He did not stumble out of the tomb. He got up on resurrection morning, took off those nasty death pajamas, and folded them neatly in a corner because he had no need for them anymore. Jesus was not simply living again; he was done dying forever.
“Death is dead, love has won, Christ has conquered.”
@scottrswain Extremely triggered by this 😂
Don't come after my mustard based BBQ I get in the low country. We don't deserve to be lumped in with those vinegar based ones

From a minor league catcher who got a job offer from Hank Aaron that changed the trajectory of his life and career, Brian Snitker has given his all to the #Braves for nearly 5 decades. His tenure as manager is one of the best in franchise history. He'll remain in the organization
Children belong in the assembly of God’s people, and they are welcome to be there AS kids - with all their noises and wiggles and questions and silliness.
Jesus rebukes those who hinder them. They are not a distraction, they are a gift! Take your kids to worship!
This is a noble idea but will have no effect if the NCAA doesn't also get on board. The majority of kids are chasing exposure for college at a time when less college spots are available to HS players (roster cuts/portal) so they are playing even more right now, not less.
Worth a read. As someone strongly convicted by this, it is extremely lonely to be the only one having a young toddler present in worship for the entirety of the service. My daughter has a right to be there, whether I'm completely comfortable throughout the service or not.
"One of our besetting sins as Christians is that we think like we only need church every now and then. That getting that one hour a week grace shot is sufficient for life."
