Happy birthday to our wonderful Liam 🎂🤍
Today is about the day you came into this world, the life you lived, and everything you brought into ours.
Your voice. Your talent. Your kindness. Your ridiculous sense of humour. That beautiful, infectious smile. The way you cared so deeply about people. Your generosity, your vulnerability, your determination. All those performances, interviews, silly jokes and little moments that can still make us laugh 🫶
There are so many things to remember when we think of you. Remembering the boy from Wolverhampton who had a dream and refused to give up on it. The boy who walked onto The X Factor stage, was told it wasn’t quite his time yet, and somehow found the courage to come back and try all over again. And thank God you did ❤️
Yes, One Direction became an enormous part of your story, and ours too. You gave everything to it. Your voice became one of the foundations of those songs. You gave us incredible vocals, songs you helped write, unforgettable performances, chaotic interviews and memories that millions of us will carry for the rest of our lives.
But you were always so much more than just one fifth of something extraordinary. An artist in your own right. You used your platform to help others. You cared deeply about the people around you. You could be incredibly thoughtful one minute and completely ridiculous the next. You made people laugh, you loved deeply and you dreamed big.
And you kept going through things most of us probably never fully understood.
We wish life had been kinder to you.
We really do.
Because behind everything people thought they knew about Liam Payne was simply a human being. Complex. Imperfect. Vulnerable. Trying to find his way through a life that became extraordinary when he was still incredibly young.
And perhaps sometimes the world forgot that. Today, we won’t ✨
We want to remember you. The smile. The laugh. The voice. The kindness. The terrible jokes. The silly faces. The moments of absolute chaos. The passion you had when you talked about music. The person who could make thousands of people smile without even realising it
Because there is so much of you worth celebrating 🤍
You lived. You laughed. You loved. You created. You helped people. You made mistakes. You grew. You dreamed.
You achieved things that the little boy from Wolverhampton could probably never have imagined, and your music became part of friendships, first loves, concerts, difficult days and some of the happiest moments of so many people’s lives. 🎶 And that’s something extraordinary.
So today, we celebrate everything you gave us — the music, the laughter, the kindness and countless memories that will always be part of us ❤️
Thank you for every song.Thank you for every laugh. Thank you for every memory. Thank you for every moment.
And thank you for being exactly who you were ❤️✨
Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever remembered.
Happy birthday, Payno 🎂❤️

On August 12th, 2026, the Moon totally eclipsed the Sun and cast its shadow across Siberia, Greenland, Iceland, Spain, and Portugal. Today’s image features two total solar eclipses viewed from Zaragoza, Spain, one over the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar and the other reflecting in the Ebro River. For a few moments, Spain saw its first major total solar eclipse since 1905. Those witnessing totality may experience a chill in the air, the quieting of birds, the confused chirps of insects, and the shared awe of many. It’s the corona’s time to shine as the Sun’s bright disk is blocked by the Moon. Among other reasons to study eclipses, they help scientists understand why the corona is millions of degrees hotter than the Sun’s surface. Enthusiastic citizens can contribute to these studies by recording how wildlife responds, imaging the corona, and monitoring air temperature and clouds.
