Last year, Allahabad High Court passed a highly important order on religious conversion and SC certificates
In Jitendra Sahani vs State of UP, the Court found that a man running a Pentecostal organisation had described himself as “Hindu” in court documents despite evidence that he had been a practicing pastor for years
Justice Praveen Giri directed an inquiry and ordered all UP district magistrates to identify people who had converted but continued to be recorded as Hindu and were availing SC benefits, in violation of Para 3 of the Constitution (Scheduled Castes) Order, 1950
The deadline was March 2026
Has this order been complied with?

Nishu Azad

Sharmistha was arrested and sent to Jail for saying what is written in the Hadith.
Nishu Azad and her father are still roaming free despite insulting Hindu deities.
This is the kind of Secularism that Nehru and Gandhi wanted

Anticipatory bail has just been denied to @ajeetbharti in the case where the FIR against him invoked draconian SC/ST act provisions. Ajeet's remarks were a reaction to provocation involving his sister. He could be jailed for up to 7 years.
I stand with Ajeet. And so should you.
@nehafolksinger@grok Hello @grok
Can a person burtally murder another person up in the middle of the road and kill them?
Can bashinh, kicking be used as a form of punishment in the Indian civil system?
As per Section 515 of the BNSS, a criminal complaint can be filed when you get knowledge of the offence.
I am concerned only with my Deities, you cannot insult them.
If you want to believe them, it's your choice, if you do not want to believe them, again it's your choice.
But if you want to insult them, it can't be your choice.
We will not allow that.

Are people aware of what is happening in the new Nalanda university? I have received a very unsettling mail from a student studying there.
He says "I am approaching you in a desperate attempt to find a way to somehow dismantle the misinformation and false narratives being propagated. While the central government claims this new structure to be the 'revival' of ancient Nalanda University, nothing could be further from the truth."
It's a long email, so I am just listing the important points.
1. He alleges that one professor K.T. Sarao delivered a talk to the whole university on how Brahmins/Hindus might have burnt the ancient Nalanda, after a conflict between Buddhist monks and Brahmins. The prof also conjectured that another possibility could be that Khilji mistook the ancient university for a fort and similarly dressed monks as soldiers; hence he might have mistakenly attacked the university.
2. He alleges that another professor, one Shailendra Raj Mehta, who visited the University couple of days back said in his lecture that the ancient Nalanda was purely Buddhist, as there was no system of building education institutes in Hindu tradition.
3. Prof Mehta also allegedly claimed that the traditions of Vaada and Samvaada were unique to ancient Nalanda, as earlier Hindus had no such tradition.
4. He alleges that one Prof Pranshu Samdarshi in a lecture stated that Upanishads were written after the emergence of Buddhism, and he quoted some western scholar.
5. Prof Pranshu Samdarshi also allegedly claimed that since Hindus could not defend their philosophical position against Buddhist Shunyata, they came up with Advaita Vedanta.
Lastly, the student has informed me that all the classes on Buddhist studies are being taught by monks and nuns. However, Hindu studies are being taught by profs who have no expertise in Hinduism or Vedanta.
I am deeply disappointed. If the new Nalanda is truly meant to revive the spirit of the ancient Nalanda, then it must revive its intellectual honesty as well. A university worthy of that name should be a place of Vaada where competing interpretations are examined against texts, inscriptions, archaeology and historical evidence, not presented to students as settled fact merely because they diminish the Hindu intellectual tradition.
Buddhism deserves to be taught by those who know it deeply and sympathetically; Hindu traditions deserve exactly the same scholarly seriousness.
A government-funded institution cannot call itself a civilizational revival while allowing one tradition to speak in its own voice and requiring another to be explained largely through the assumptions of its critics. If these allegations are accurate, the question that must be asked is - what exactly is being revived at Nalanda?

A Hindu family in Khoda Colony, Ghaziabad, returned from Janmashtami darshan at 12:30 AM and was denied entry to the house they rented from a Muslim family.
When another tenant opened the door, they were beaten, abused, and their prasad was thrown into the drain.
Police allegedly asked for ₹5,000, took ₹1,500, and tried to “sort it out.”
Something about the Nepal disaster doesn't add up.
They made you believe it was just nature collapsing.
Until you dig deeper.
And discover something disturbing inside those mountains.
I didn't write about Nepal immediately.
I watched.
I read.
I waited.
Everyone showed the flood.
Very few asked what came before it.
This story didn't begin on Aug 26.
Boulders rolled like toys.
Bridges disappeared.
Buildings folded.
The river rose 9 metres in 30 minutes.
Destruction travelled 100+ kilometres.
The collapse generated seismic energy.
Equivalent to 5.2 earthquake.
This wasn't an ordinary flood.
Water.
Ice.
Rock.
Mud.
Debris.
Pieces of a mountain became a geological monster.
As if someone invoked it.
Now comes the uncomfortable layer.
For roughly 15 years,
Nepal and China have been butchering the Himalayas.
Slopes cut.
Roads carved.
Mountains blasted.
Rivers diverted.
Hydropower multiplied.
Kilometres of tunnels pierced through rock.
Then came dry ports.
Transmission systems.
And plans for railways.
The scientists already knew the terrain.
They warned everyone repeatedly.
Active fractures.
Extreme rock stress.
High seismicity.
Slope instability.
Water erosion.
China and Nepal knew what kind of mountains they were entering.
Yet the machines continued.
Drilling.
Cutting.
Blasting.
Excavating.
Year after year.
Did development trigger the collapse?
With China's narrative warfare,
Will we ever get that answer?
Now watch where the narrative moves.
"Carbon caused it."
And everything else slowly disappears.
Blasting.
Groundwater disturbance.
Slope cutting.
Tunnelling.
River engineering.
Cumulative construction.
15 years of massacring a fragile landscape.
Then another UN vocabulary arrives.
Climate liability.
Loss and Damage.
Carbon accounting.
Carbon markets.
Emission restrictions.
Who emitted?
Who pays?
Who gets to emit?
Eventually: who decides how much carbon your life may produce?
Travel.
Electricity.
Food.
Fuel.
Housing.
Consumption.
Everything gets a carbon number.
And this is where the story becomes dangerous.
The villager who lost his home may be lectured about his carbon footprint.
The worker who lost his family may be asked to change his lifestyle.
Ordinary citizens will pay through restrictions, taxes and higher costs.
But who questions governments?
Planners?
Financiers?
Let's ask the question nobody seems comfortable asking:
Did climate change create this catastrophe?
Or are we watching the consequences of disturbing something we never fully understood?
Perhaps that is why this case will never close.
