The new @LVMPD Area Command comes at a significant time for @LVMPDSEAC. Last month, Ofcr. Austin Abdelnabi was killed in the line of duty.

His locker has been preserved, his picture is now on the wall of heroes and there’s a tribute to Ofcr. Abdelnabi in the briefing room.

A more visible police presence on the east side of Las #Vegas. Sheriff Kevin McMahill, @CommishTick and @lvmpd cut the ribbon to open a new area command center.

This command was a Clark County initiative, built next to a @ClarkCountyFD Station and Hollywood Regional Park.

The Clark County Elections Dept. wants people to know there's a new step for in-person voting. After making selections, voters will print and review their ballot before scanning it through a tabulator to cast their vote.

Big news for the southwest! 🌳 The Clark County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a major expansion for Echo Trail Park, including a brand new 58,000-square-foot community center expected to open in 2028!

Modeled after the successful Silverado Ranch center, this expanded complex will feature a state-of-the-art facility complete with a gymnasium, fitness space, indoor walking track, dance/yoga studio, demo kitchen, and multipurpose classrooms. The project also delivers major park upgrades, including 288 new parking spaces, new pedestrian pathways, and enhanced landscaping to create a vibrant destination for neighbors of all ages to play, recreate, and build community.

We can't wait to see this incredible new space bring our neighborhood together!
