Matching the performance of DJI products is hard to do. But we did it. US-made @FlybyRobotics F-11 flight time exceeds DJI Matrice 350 at all payload weights.
🇺🇸 Earlier this month Los Angeles based Flyby Robotics (@FlybyRobotics) announced shipment of F-11 programmable UAS.
"So far, we’ve shipped to Palantir, European defense primes, cutting-edge startups, and major universities. We’ve landed our first 7-figure contract with USAF, and 7X’ed YoY booked revenue since last year."

Zero CCP components.
Made in Los Angeles.
It took ludicrous amount of work, but our doodle lab RF streaming on high res payload is now finally look proud. Doodle labs is stupid hard to get it to work well on a system, but if you keep on throwing yourself on a wall, you can get good results.
if you’re used to DJI consumer drones the significance of this might be lost
this level of telemetry / bandwidth in contested environments is unbelievably good
great job guys!!

Here’s a quick thread on philosophical design differences between @FlybyRobotics and DJI. We’ve designed the F-11 to be an actual open platform for machine learning at the edge.
Here's how we're building this:
