@HMRCcustomers Hi Steve. Done! Checked the figures as you suggest and it does all balance. Looked strange as so much taken from one small pension, but understand now in the context of tax not being deducted at source on the state pension Thanks for your help.
@HMRCcustomers Hi. Help! My 85 year old mother is in very poor health and unable to use any online services. Your telephone helpline constantly cuts off. How can she give you authority to talk to me? She is a 20% tax payer and is being charged 45% on a small company pension.
@HMRCcustomers Hi. Think I might have worked it out. The excess (taxable part) from her state pension has been added to her private pension and they are deducting 20% tax, but on a higher figure than she gets for her actual pension.
@HMRCcustomers Thanks Steve. Yes - she has a state pension which takes up all of her tax free allowance, a small widow’s pension (taxed at 20%) and an her own works pension (which they are taxing at 45%).
@TheBlack_Watch Proud of my collection of Tom’s finest work. Can you spot the problem? Does anyone have a copy of issue 1 to help this anorak sleep at night? If you can help, I’ll let you know who got the spare ‘95 cup final ticket!!
@rhylfc Devastating news. My football watching obsession started by walking across the school playing field from home to Belle Vue as a seven year old in 1976. So many great memories. Rhyl FC will be back.
@angelcakepics@EvertonHeritage Hi. I remember seeing this on the old morning schools TV programme. Is the whole video available to watch? Thanks for bringing back a wonderful childhood memory!
@HMRCcustomers Addressed to them at my Mum's address. They have never lived here - parents here since new. P45 so all personal details. Three letters now received.
