Governments (like Macron's) setting retirement age according to average life expectancy are indulging in class war. In 1930, the richest could expect to live 5 yrs longer than the poorest. Today it is at least 13 yrs longer. Using averages in a class society is class war.

@pauleckstein @OEI_econ @oei_news oh this is great. i see you don't have any understanding of path dependence in research and that you are unaware those numbers were quoted from a direct source on Russian mobilization. i don't think anyone thinks that the army was only Russians, but i can clarify that. @pauleckstein @OEI_econ @oei_news probably because we all are trained by our respective fields and there is path dependence in research : ) the studies i cite to begin this research are German and the project is about overcoming western biases. how would you suggest i improve it? what should i use instead?

@pauleckstein @OEI_econ @oei_news hi i am the PhD candidate : ) i am an institutional economist and this is the terminology that is common in our literature. how can it be improved? i think it's important to remember that expectations are set by our respective fields, but i am always willing to learn.
