@perennialmystic Self-refuting statements to me. If we apply Aurelius’ own logic to these propositions, he’s giving an opinion, not fact: perspective, not the truth.
@Heftyparsnip@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas This seems like mere assumption, rather than a provable fact: an apparent case of begging the question. Where’s the observable, testable and repeatable proof to support this assertion? How does impulse control determine whether one race is superior in intelligence to another?
@Heftyparsnip@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas If anything, these results would seem to debunk Cofnas’ underlying claims about race differences, suggesting that, with the right variables, all races—regardless of their background—not only have the potential to do well, but also come out as decent human beings. @Heftyparsnip@Miss_Snuffy@nathancofnas Katherine’s moral preconceptions about the world, which seem to have a clear Christian impulse, have quite patently debunked the claims of IQ differences in an inner-city school that is competing with—and even exceeding—grammar and independent schools in the UK.
