During his residency, @germnsartori explored the intersection of technology, image and sound. He used field recordings captured with cell phones, generative music, and video created in Processing. For his installation, he utilized a 1970s monitor and an analog sound system

During his residency Ivan @AlkuNoir27243 registered the sound of the ground through interviews with residents of Characato, recordings of anthills and soils, and developed visuals in Processing based on the fieldwork conducted during his stay in La Falda

During her residency @victoriarussaa worked with recorders, sound, digital photo and video and Processing. He made field recordings using an old journalist's Cassette recorder, exploring white noise as sound material and combining sound, image and writing

Last week was the culmination of what started as an idea.

The work @danaAfanego and @claudioHguzman put in to host a residency in La Falda, Argentina was nothing short of inspiring.

The residency hosted, boarded and exhibited 4 artists for a week of workshops and exploration in sonic arts and experimental music.

It took months of planning, but they delivered. They appeared on radio, hosted a station in one of South America’s most important art events, culminating in an exhibition/concert this past Saturday.

The residents were even invited to a private reception by the local Ministry of Culture.

All I can say is thank you for your dedication to @brujula_galeria

I’m blown away.

More will come. Expect some deep dives with the team and the residents, as well as digital gallery.
