Community member Chris Lockwood spoke on what motivated his vote - “Basic core freedom. I’m a staunch anti-facist. I’m actually an independent, but there is no more important issue than [freedom] right now.” His message to voters: “whatever happens, it’s your fault.” #ElectionDay

Rumors of an hour long wait have discouraged some voters at the library. An unnamed passerby said “I know my vote matters, I just don’t want to wait in line.” While the library is one of the busiest voting locations, other available locations can be found: https://t.co/pzSZMLHXYR

[Ryan Claycamp @RyanClaycamp]

As the long times continue at the San Marcos Public Library, poll workers are recommending voters check wait times and go to other polling locations rather than waiting here.
