@SecDuffy Blatant lie, starting pay is not even $100k, if it was $180k we would not be in this crisis. I am making $166k at one of the busier facilities in the country, and will be getting a 1% raise next year meanwhile inflation is going crazy.
@lockedoutofvenu@Hotshot_Movie Itโs not understandable, as a pilot of an aircraft or drone you must know all regulations about where you can fly and be aware of any airspace restrictions - especially TFRs. This is a basic start to any flight
@lemonodor@TheIntelFrog@FAANews โTurned off the external lightsโ is interesting, wonder if that becomes a strategy. you just know there is somewhere out there saying they lasered the โdroneโ and it turned off its lights ๐
@MCCCANM High priority traffic calls for my are if aircraft are climbing or descending, partly to ensure separation but also avoid an RA. When I call traffic and its a VFR target the pilots always listen up, and start looking. Usually involves a turn if not in sight, altitude is good too
@MCCCANM In the Enroute environment we are required to call traffic to any merging targets with minimum separation, so could be 1000โ or 2000โ in non-rvsm, however this is workload permitting so if we have more important stuff happening (often) it moves to the bottom of the list.
@lh0ch Iโve got a morning shift tomorrowโฆ. Canโt decide if that is worse or better, on one hand the day will go by faster but I would almost rather be working during results to have the distraction
@smartereveryday@YouTube I watched it last night, loved it! Such a fun interview and probably asking questions outside of their normal interview set which is a nice change.
@MCCCANM Constantly in awe of yโall flying into unfamiliar airports daily, I deal with familiar airspace everyday and just have to fit all the planes into it.
