This is a friend of a friend. He has been missing since March 2nd. Can people please retweet - it's strange how some missing people just don't get attention whilst others do? #jayslater#jackosullivan
Messages travel through the nervous system at an incredible speed of up to 120 meters per second! This is about the speed a puppy moves with something it shouldn’t have.
Ok this is the dumbest #ADHD hack ever and I don’t know why it works, but when I feel overwhelmed by all my tasks, I just pretend that I’m my own personal assistant.
What’s a random quote from British comedy that you can’t help but say every now and then?
Mine is: “God, I'm bored. Might as well be listening to Genesis” (Rick, The Young Ones)
@SoVeryBritish No, you’re doing this wrong. You shout down the table “save me a hob nob”, even though you don’t want a hob nob, apologise to speaker for interrupting, watch as all the hob nobs get taken, thus leaving plenty of the actual biscuit you wanted by the time the plate gets to you. 👍🏼
It’s incredibly hard to keep engaged in a conversation while you know a plate of biscuits is about to be offered to you. You can sense the biscuits making their way up the table. You can hear other people pretending to be surprised by the biscuits by saying “ooh, biscuits!”. And here you are, pretending to speak to someone, feeling like an extra in a film. You can’t look at the biscuits, that’s not part of the game. Just have to fix your eyes on the person you’re speaking to, just have to hold your nerve steady until… “ooh, biscuits!”
Please don't get mad at me because I get excited when you get home.
It's the best part of my day.
I only live 10-15 years so don't leave me alone for too long.
I don't have as much time as you do.
Don't stay cross with me all day.
You have work, family and friends.
I only have you.
Take care of me when I get old.
I'll be just as cute as when I was a puppy.
Remember, I love you and you are my everything. 🐾❤️

at the wedding i'm at today, when it was ring time, they put the ring box in the pocket of the wedding dress and there was an audible gasp around the room: "it has pockets 😮"

Yesterday, the House of Lords voted in support of protecting our rivers by saying no to removing key legal provisions on #NutrientNeutrality. It is possible to build new homes while safeguarding our precious waterways - and we're pleased to see that these protections aren't going anywhere.
Thank you to all the peers and policy-makers who took a stand on this important issue.
Look what we found! 😲 🐍 💚
A beautiful grass snake - natrix natrix - spotted in the leaf mould bin at our Sutton Courtenay education centre by volunteer Duncan, and not very impressed about being disturbed! 😂

We’ve become aware of a company using a video of Newson Health practitioner, Dr Rebecca Lewis , to falsely advertise bio-identical oestrogen gel on social media. Please know that no Newson Health doctors participate in brand collaborations: if you see a Newson Health doctor in content online offering HRT without needing a consultation at one of our clinics, it is a scam.
Newson Health and the doctors who work with us do not sell medication directly to anyone online.
Our patients’ health and safety is of paramount importance to us, so we are working with the relevant organisations to get this fraudulent ad taken down.
As far as we are aware no Newson Health patients have fallen victim to this scam and we sincerely hope this remains the case.
If women are considering taking any kind of HRT, they should ensure they have an individualised consultation with a doctor or healthcare professional.
What’s a scam that’s become so normalized we don’t realize it’s a scam: that we’re not spiritual beings.
We are mind, body, and soul.
Our soul needs connection, love, purpose, and meaning.
We are not meant to sleep walk through life, work, then die.
Mental health symptoms are normal when your soul is slowly dying.
Humans weren’t meant to exist in survival mode.
We need to be free— to thrive.
We’re meant to wake up to our true potential, not to re-live past patterns.
For women just starting out on HRT, it’s natural to have questions about how to take/apply it, so I wanted to publicly answer some of the most common questions women ask me. Hope this helps some of you!
