IDGAF about a partnership. Make a stand against micro transactions in Dynasty and RTG. Take them out and bring XP sliders back @EASPORTSCollege#CFBPlayDontPay
OFFLINE. The last refuge for sports enthusiasts/purists to play our way with freedom.
Are we supposed to sit and watch that freedom slowly be put behind a paywall?
Is nothing sacred? We gotta pay the fee if we don’t want to play their way?
Not having that.
Bring back fast XP. Give us more customization. Protect player agency and preserve the sandbox.

@playboypack@GatorsFB This is what’s needed most in dynasty mode. College football is all about individual storylines. This is what’s keeps you locked & loaded after year 15+
I’ve been trying to figure out what’s actually not clicking with me, and I think I finally have an answer.
It’s not microtransactions. I don’t mind paying for things. I understand I’m a guy looking for a premium experience. and I’ll gladly pay a premium for a football simulation that delivers that.
What feels “off” to me is the underlying design philosophy driving most of these sports games nowadays - the progression rpg-like systems… the “gamification”. It’s that language and the mechanics.
I see all this “XP. Skill trees. Coach progression. Abilities. Objectives.” And it all reminds me of other video games I never cared to play 🤷♂️
None of that stuff is what drew me to sports games in the first place. I’m not a gamer. I don’t enjoy RPGs or “the grind”. I play football games because I love football. that’s more than enough to keep me engaged.
When I start a Dynasty, I don’t really want to “build my coach.” I want to build a football program. I want to be immersed in the storylines of the season.
When I play Road to Glory, I don’t think about optimizing a character build and unlocking stuff. I want to experience a football career.
Ultimate Team, competitive online, and other progression-heavy modes have a huge audience. They bring in the money. And yeah…
I don’t know what else to say.
I guess I’m wanting an immersion-first experience that doesn’t force me into that same “online gamer” register.
Just wanted to make clear that my critique goes deeper than just “microtransactions bad - EA greedy”.
This is straight heat from the KINGGGGG. 🔥🔥🔥
