It happened to me too, in the summer, we got stuck between Paddington and Ealing Broadway, it was the last Elizabeth train to Reading, we were stuck for over two hours in the train because of a signal failure, just to eventually return to Padding
@Rainmaker1973 I'm not a carpenter myself, but I've seen people wearing carpenter gloves while working with wooden boards in order to avoid splinters, although I see the risk of wearing them while cutting with an electrical saw.

If it's invested in an ISA account and you manage to get an average of 10% a year on that investment, that is $100k tax free + your million untouched. If you have a state pension on top and a private pension on the side, I'd say Yes.
