CCTV captures the moment an Iranian drone hits Terminal one at Kuwait International Airport, leaving a large fire and significant damage in the recently renovated airport area.
"We quickly learned that sometimes some of [our] assumptions didn’t work out, but the underlying learnings from the technology turned out to be very useful.” —Ravi Radhakrishnan, the executive vice president and chief information officer of American Express, at the TIME100 AI Leadership Forum
Yup. We agree.
That’s why we keep pushin’

This is from a WSJ article on @GoogleAI strategy to build data centers in a crowded market. Sound familiar? :)

It’s not “woke” to support ALL of your workers and their diverse backgrounds and traits… It’s simply being a good boss. Most sports coaches do this too. Or they don’t win.
Trump is tossing out all the ocean sensors that measure climate change. This is their climate policy: if we stop looking, maybe it'll stop being real. https://t.co/oiNC1fpwkY
Texas added 10 gigawatts of power in the last 7 months. A majority of it is dispatchable. This is fast even by Texas standards and far exceeds the pace of any other state or even regional grid in the US. #txlege#txenergy
The intermittency problem isn't a reason to avoid renewable energy. It's a reason to build smarter infrastructure around it.
Soluna's multi-source power mix, managed in real time by MaestroOS, is what makes always-on compute possible from a renewable generation site.
Renewable-first. That’s the future of computing.

🔴 BREAKING: A large tanker flying the Panamanian flag has been exposed to an explosion while operating in Iraqi territorial waters, according to Al Arabiya sources.
In my upcoming interview with the CEO of $SLNH I plan to ask when we might see the first AI/HPC deal at Kati 2.
We know they've been in active discussions with hyperscalers and neoclouds for the site.
This is by far the top question everyone is asking me.
A recent AMA with the CFO (who appears to have been in the open market buying 100k shares last week) really helped to shed light on a potential timeline where we could see a signing in the coming months with the site being operational already in 2027.
We know Kati 1 was already ahead of schedule and time to power is one of the primary advantages of $SLNH.
Good coverage and clear to anyone paying attention to these markets over the last 18 months.
PJM came within 2GW of forcing data centers onto backup power last week. Summer heat drove peak load past 135GW with reserves at 4%, and 40GW of generation sat in maintenance. DOE only cleared a voluntary switchover this time. Writing is on the wall: When the grid hits peak conditions, data centers lose service first. Texas already wrote that into law with SB6. Half the US pipeline sits in PJM and Texas.
Takeaway: Interruptible service is becoming the price of a fast interconnect.
It’s okay for HNWs and high-visibility execs to simply think small. If they want to have that individual impact, go support a “small” effort where you can basically guarantee success. And don’t measure yourself by how much $$ you make doing it. Or how much news.
This will get dunked on.
But honestly I see it. The easy answer is that these retired executives have deep networks that could very much help any impact investors whose focus areas overlap with the execs’ personal sense of “purpose”. Go be a low paid advisor to one.
“It turns out that making money is easy; having a purpose is hard" for retired corporate executives, former GE chief Jeff Immelt wrote in a lengthy post on Substack, https://t.co/FHaEgVxvgi
The real problem — and I’ve seen this with so many HNWs as well — is that when you’re wealthy and/or well-known you feel like everything you do should be “big”. But then that leads you to join already-big efforts where you aren’t as needed or the change won’t be as meaningful.
This United States made an estimated $186 billion of improper payments last year, while borrowing nearly 10x that -- $1.8 trillion.
I'm happy the Vice President is focused on fighting fraud .. we shouldn't be wasting scarce federal dollars.
But this won't balance the budget.
