Today I had a surreal moment. I received my GMC reference number in preparation for applying to foundation schools. Almost bridged that gap between student and healthcare professional. The imposter syndrome is kicking in hard but so is the excitement!

I cannot emphasise it enough how palpably I feel the fact that Labour has taken more decisive steps on healthcare since they took power last summer, compared to what the Tories did for the past 10 years I have been in the UK, combined.

@Rational_Psych @BMJMentalHealth Through placement I have found that specialties think it is another specialty’s remit to discuss this topic, ultimately being discussed too late, either via a gynae referral or the patient requesting a GP appointment to discuss menstrual-related concerns. We must do better.
