First time using my flying privileges to commute to a business meeting - some proper operational IFR flying. A low bank of cloud - much lower than forecast, in and out of IMC, with a low freezing level stopping me from getting above the clouds.

A thoroughly enjoyable flight.

Thank you 🙂 On that particular runway I would normally land long in the real world due to the exit being halfway up the runway, but it's good to see my short field landing skills translate from real world to sim!

Last night I loaded up X-Plane 12, got it connected to VATSIM, took a short flight from Stansted to Cambridge VFR. First proper flight on the new @XPlaneOfficial sim, with my TCA flight stick. Loved the landing!

@JordanHazrati 4 months?! Wow. They took 13 working days from receipt of IR(R) application to me having my updated license in my hands back in March/April. Wonder what's holding them up.
