The Cleburne Fire Department was chartered with the State of Texas as the Cleburne Hook and Ladder Company No. 1 on December 8, 1881.

The Cleburne Police Department will be conducting training at Cleburne High School this week, July 11-15. Please do not be alarmed! They will have role players on-site, but know that they are not in danger. Expect to see police activity in the area.

Due to the current drought situation, the Cleburne Fire Marshal's Office reminds residents that starting a fire during a burn ban, starting a fire without a permit, or starting a fire that causes damage to another's building are all considered criminal offenses.

The City will be conducting an exercise to test our capabilities for responding to a large emergency incident on Wednesday, March 18th, 8am to 12pm.

The exercise will be staged at The Depot at Cleburne Station, 1906 Brazzell Road.

CFD is currently fighting a structure fire on Ivanhoe Street in south Cleburne. It is currently under control, but please avoid the area due to emergency vehicle traffic. No injuries are reported.
