I didn’t go through hoops. As a drug addicted, homosexual, transgender identifying, demonically influenced person, I was seconds away from killing myself because I could no longer handle the deep suffering of that disordered reality anymore… right as I was about to do the unthinkable and take my own life (as the demons would have loved for me to do) - I instead, in a moment of great desperation, dropped to my knees for the first time in my entire life, and begged God to show me that He was real. I went directly to Christ and the next morning I woke up with a rosary in my side table drawer next to my bed. Not being a religious person at all, I saw a man hanging on a cross at the end of that rosary, and wondering if that man maybe was the God I was begging help from the night before, I went online to figure out what this thing was. I found out it was a rosary and a prayer. I prayed it in an attempt to find the answer I had asked God the night before, and when I did, I felt a deep calling to go to a Catholic Mass. Trust me, it’s as crazy sounding to me as it must be for you to hear. But I listened to that calling in my heart that was so strong I couldn’t deny it. When I went to Mass, God changed my heart instantly, and ever since I’ve never been the same. I’ve been healed!

I stood in the same room with the Holy Eucharist which is Christs actual body. What that means is that when you are in the presence of the Eucharist, you are in the presence of the one true Jesus Christ. As you stare upon Him, He stares back upon you. Being in His presence healed me instantly. So the night I was about to Kill myself…. I did go to God. I begged Him like I’ve never begged before in my life to show me that He was real. I wanted to believe. His response? He sent me His mother through the rosary. I prayed it and it lead me directly to Him at the Holy sacrifice of the Mass, and in His presence I was instantly transformed. Who else but God can do such miracles? I did not have an intellectual conversion. You don’t seem to understand…. I had an encounter with the one true living God of the universe, Jesus Christ in the flesh. His presence just as real and available to me as it was over 2,000 years ago when He sat before His apostles. Just like all the miracles He performed by merely touching people, or in other cases just saying the word, HE, the one true God, healed me! Everything that happened to me can be found in your Bible, these are not just stories that happened thousands of years ago, it’s a living text.

You seem sweet, so I’m not trying to argue. But please, I beg you to reconsider what you think you know! God answered my prayer to Him in a matter of 5 days. His answer was to send me His mother. Who am I to argue with the responses God gives to me?! Listen to my story. If your right then wonderful, but ask God just once if maybe your wrong and let Him answer you. It hurts nothing to ask God for understanding on how His mother helps us by bringing us closer to Him. You lose nothing in this single act of humility. But I can promise it will be the best thing you ever did and it will blow your freaking mind!

I’m convinced the TLM is the natural state of things in the Latin Church. By that, I mean that if left alone, it will naturally become the dominant rite again, as it most fully expresses Latin theology and piety.

That’s why a pope that doesn’t persecute it would be a huge win.
