It is commonly claimed that heatwaves have become worse in the U.S.
Climate Central and other organizations will show charts that show an increase in hot days since 1960 or 1970.
But the trend looks very different if you start the analysis much earlier and use the full period of record. The average number of days ≥95°F (35°C), for example, was ~18% lower during the 60-year period 1961–2020 compared to 1901–60.
Billions in taxpayer money went missing, and it wasn't the Senate or a state agency that caught it. It was a private citizen with a camera, asking questions nobody in office bothered to ask.
And when he testified, Democrat senators barely even showed up to listen.
That tells you everything about who's actually watching out for your money, and who isn't.
Minnesota, you deserve leaders who take your tax dollars as seriously as you do.
Tax-exempt nonprofit BluePrint Kansas (doing business as https://t.co/oCieguWaNO) has received and spent nearly $800,000 focusing on progressive voter registration since 2017.
There is no equivalent of this on the right.
The latest DNI documents reinforce the need for a full investigation into the origins of COVID-19.
It’s time for a Special Counsel to investigate Dr. Fauci’s actions and uncover the truth.
Most of Kansas uses tabulators that read the bar codes on the side of the ballot and not the text/markings made by the voter. That means the voter cannot verify what the ballot says because the part they actually mark is irrelevant. This is a major 1st Amendment violation because if we cannot verify our vote was cast as intended, then our voice is stifled.
@DHS just issued a memo with the following directive:
"To strengthen election security, the Department of Homeland Security is requiring all grant recipients to take several key actions:
First, states must submit a plan for transitioning away from unsecure electronic voting systems that use bar codes and QR codes to count votes and instead use equipment that accepts hand-marked paper ballots. This change helps create a necessary and reliable paper trail, making it easier to verify results and detect any irregularities."
@KansasSOS had better think twice before using these machines in the upcoming midterms. If he does, he could be held criminally liable and Kansas will losing funding.
Hand counted, paper ballots are the only way to conduct and election. No machines.
🚨 NEW: Senator Rand Paul brings out charts on the floor exposing that ultra-rich Hollywood members can get government insurance.
Another place to start, @DOGE.
"I don't think we should buy insurance for [Nicholas Cage's] home. If he can get a $4.2 million home - I bet you he can buy his own insurance."
"Matt Damon could buy his own insurance."
"Phil Collins [...] His home is worth $40 million. Also eligible for government insurance."
Thank you, @RandPaul.
🚨 JUST NOW: John Thune walks onto the Senate floor to rip Democrats for betraying America, saying they are being RECKLESS with national security by shutting down the government and voting against the NDAA
THEN NUKE THE FILIBUSTER, then SAVE America and EVERYTHING can pass 🔥
THUNE: "Democrats are playing fast and loose with our nation's security. They've been playing fast and loose with national security all year!"
Governor Laura Kelly has just announced a new appointment to the Kansas Supreme Court, and once again, everyday Kansans had zero say in the decision.

“Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.”
— Thomas Sowell
JOHNSON: "You mentioned the 'Stop Nick Shirley Act,' what was that?"
@nickshirleyy: "It's to...make it essentially illegal to expose, and film outside of immigration support service providers."
JOHNSON: “It really ought to be renamed the 'Protect Medicaid Fraudster Act.'”
