Loretta was a supremely talented actor. She deserved all her 10 EMMY nominations and her 2 wins. But more than acting her part, she created it. She worked hard In showing the writing staff how they could turn the character from a one joke sexist stereotype into a real person -- with real feelings and ambitions. We celebrated the day the script came out listing her character not as Hot Lips, but as Margaret. Loretta made the most of her time here.
"I had 99 problems and who would have thought getting access to supportive housing would solve 90 of them".
If You want to treat addiction, mental health challenges, and chronic health conditions people need access to more supportive housing, not less!
It's hard to recover from any health condition without housing.

We are devastated to learn of the loss of our beloved leader and Elder, Mizana Giizhik, His Honour, Murray Sinclair. His tireless work to advance the rights of Indigenous Peoples and ensure the legacy of residential school Survivors will never be forgotten.
Imagine that these leaders all demanded a response of supportive housing! Our vulnerable friends on the street could have safety, dignity, and a much better life in a HOME!
Instead, these “leaders” chose to ask about crushing the most vulnerable once again.
Matthew 25 tells us that when Jesus returns and judges between the righteous and unrighteous, he doesn't judge them based on their theology, their patriotism, or their individual definitions of morality.
Jesus judges them based on their compassion towards vulnerable people.
Residential schools were a prison. I was alienated - I could not speak to my siblings in my language. When I went back home, people made fun of the fact I could not speak Inuinnaqtun. People called me a white woman.
A month in hospital costs: $30,100
Month in prison: $9,400

Celebrating the birthday of this amazing man. Jim has inspired me to love extraordinarily, be silly, burst into song, and welcome all! A truly great man!
Doug is just pandering without understanding. I know many people deprived of housing. Most work extremely hard just to get by. If a person cannot get housing, the next steps, including a job, are almost always impossible.
