@LFPress This will facilitate the redevelopment of the relocation area, potentially leading to more apartments or the creation of a mixed-use centre for the community.
@CP24 How many people need to be killed by an automobile to make changes to the way people drive? 30 in 2024, 28 so far in 2025. Most of those killed were not in an automobile.

WOW!
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum responded to Trump’s threats with a backhand…
“So, you voted to build a wall.
Well, dear Americans, even if geography isn’t your strong suit, since you consider America a country rather than a continent you should know that beyond that wall, there are 7 billion people.
The word people might not resonate with you, let’s call them consumers.
These 7 billion consumers can switch from iPhones to Samsung or Huawei in less than two days.
They can swap Levi’s for Zara or Massimo Dutti and, within six months, replace Ford and Chevrolet with Toyota, KIA, Mazda, Honda, Hyundai, Volvo, Subaru, Renault, or BMW..Brands that often outperform in quality.
They can cancel Direct TV, and though they might not want to, they can stop watching Hollywood films in favour of higher-quality productions from Latin America or Europe, which offer richer narratives and better cinematography.
Believe it or not, people can skip Disney and instead visit the Xcaret resort in Cancun, or explore destinations in Mexico, Canada, South America, and Europe. In Mexico, you’ll find better hamburgers than McDonald's, with superior nutritional value.
Have you ever seen pyramids in the U.S.?
Egypt, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, and Sudan all have ancient wonders, none of them in the U.S.
If they did, Trump would probably have bought and sold them by now.
We know that Nike isn’t the only sneaker brand..There’s Adidas, and even Mexican brands like Panam.
We understand the economy more than you think.
And we also know that if these 7 billion consumers stop buying American products, unemployment will rise, and your economy trapped within its self-imposed wall will crumble to the point where you'll beg us to tear it down.We didn’t want to do this, but...you wanted a wall?
Well, you got one.”
Her approval ratings to historical levels, with one recent poll putting her support at 85 percent!
Drivers must recognize that cyclists have a legal right to take the lane, and it's essential for their safety and well-being. Roads are not solely for automobiles. As the Ford government considers removing bike lanes, this practice will become increasingly important.
@fordnation@PBethlenfalvy Great news? As an Ontarian, I have numerous other issues that I would like to see improved. Increasing access to alcohol isn't one of them. Additionally, it costs taxpayers money to implement such changes, which could be better spent on more important matters.
@StevensonLDN It is a small percentage then went for policing and there is still crime in the city. Just because a project has started, doesn’t mean there will be no more issues.
@StevensonLDN@ArkAidMission The ward councillor needs to start working with the different groups to find solutions. Unfortunately I have not heard any ideas.
@StevensonLDN@CTVLondon People living in encampments will not go hungry if meal deliveries cease. They’ll inevitably find other ways to meet their basic needs. When the support they depend on disappears, their focus will shift to survival, which may lead them to disregard how their actions affect others
@dimastreaming If it helps to enhance the creation of quality shows for streaming, I am willing to pay the tax. There are too many low-quality and outdated shows being streamed.
Minister,
The reason gridlock exists is because there are too many cars on the roads. The way to address that is not by removing opportunities to reduce cars on the roads, it’s by increasing opportunities for folx to use alternatives. Cycling is a mode of transportation, too.
@LFPress @jackmoulton65 If driving lanes are removed and still can handle the capacity, there should not be any issues. It takes less space and cost for to travel by foot, cycling and transit, than by private automobiles.

@StevensonLDN The ward councillor should be working to build bridges and assist to create solutions to the issues. I am not sure what they are currently doing about it.
