@WasAcop There is no evidence what transpired at the scene had anything to do with diversity training and you have added that as a result of your own biases.
@argentcorvus@1554buchanan@WasAcop It was a relevant line of enquiry. Murderer asserts that he was racially abused and attacked, perhaps defending himself. Police examine phone and can then say in response 'we have no evidence that the murderer was racially abused and nothing to suggest racial prejudice'.
@kelvmackenzie If staff were being threatened with violence and had been hurt then that would be a grade 1 (emergency), if Police did not attend it would have been either because the facts differ from what you state or they had no one to attend.
Worried about the transfer direction Spurs are taking. It's looking like a lot of defensive signings. We didn't concede so many goals because our defence it bad but because we offer little attacking threat. The best defenders in the world won't shift the balance of play. #spurs
@clinihed@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice He puts the cart before the horse and my experience also makes me equally qualified to comment. The Navy/Army don't go to thousands of low level incidents involving drunk and mentally ill people that causes, over time, complacency and both conscious & unconscious bias.
@AaronBastani It's human nature that we simplify the world. We all engage in stereotyping, we make assumptions about what has happened and what will happen next. Everyone is trying to make this more heinous that perhaps the simple explanation that they made an assumption & it was a big mistake
@clinihed@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice That wasn't making reference to the incident as a whole but in response to the chaps original post. Anyway you're a bot by the looks of it...
@overcast_lines@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice That's why some people are upset and rightly so. Many are using it to push the two tier Policing agenda and saying the officers acted as they did due some sort of anti-white bias. For 2 minutes they badly misread the situation but it doesn't make them monsters.
@AyoCaesar I don't think it's indifference and some sort of inhumane nature that only afflicts Police Officers, it's simply that every day there are multiple prisoners in custody faking illnesses and injuries and trying to get taken to hospital that it's more of a boy that cried wolf thing
@NadiaWhittomeMP I genuinely think if you are going to say this sort of thing then you should go and do a month or two of ride-alongs and see if you still have the same views.
@cowan_al@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice I think you are missing my point. I don't dispute any of that. The chap said essentially 'Hants Police show me the guidance that dying people have to be handcuffed'. It's a stupid point.
@cowan_al@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice There is no anti white prejudice at play. It was officers making assumptions based on what was reported to them and finding something at the scene (in the first few minutes at least) that reinforced it.
@cowan_al@DrChrisParry@HantsPolice I agree with that. The chaps tweet made the false suggestion they handcuffed him knowing he was dying which they did not. They made a massive mistake. Preserve life is embedded in Police training as the 1st priority but they misread the situation and thought he was drunk & lying
