@MikeSyl36625988 Don’t overlook Raleigh-Durham airport area which will give you access to Research Triangle + teaching hospitals, college environment (UNC/Duke/NC State + Wake Forest (Winston-Salem), Pinehurst, Beaches/Marshland.
@MikeSyl36625988 If lake, Lake Norman (western = less expensive); Mtn Island Lake; or Lake Wylie. Lake James (near Morganton) too. If mountains, options = foothills of SC/NC; a further north in NC, and Asheville/Blowing Rock area; + mountain lakes N of Clemson + Lake Lure, etc. Horses=Tryon NC.
@dampedspring Great tutorial on bank reserves. For those who still struggle with the concept, it may be the word itself; not the underlying transactions/flows. Try reading Andy’s report and mentally substitute “cash” for “reserves”. May help.
@ianncushing Need more info. 100% equity and b/e; not good. 100% debt financed and b/e; maybe ok…depends. 100% debt financed at 3% 3 year fixed with 15 year NNN leases and b/e with debt maturing later this year; probably not ok.
@sportsandra Things to do SI - Fort Moultrie; Lighthouse
Things to do Mt Pleasant - Boone Hall; The Yorktown; have a drink at Reid’s Ice House or restaurant on Shem Creek; walk the Waterfront Park; walk across (or half-way across) the Cooper River Bridge
Charleston - needs another thread
@sportsandra Things to do on IOP other than the beach/activities at Wild Dunes: rent a boat at the marina; anything with Coastal Expeditions; rent a golf cart while staying there if more than a couple days; bike ride through wild dunes; fishing charter at IOP marina.
@notthefakeSVP SVP, what’s the call if the ball hits the [camera thing?] on the top of the stanchion and bounces on the “wrong” side of the crossbar? If the correct call is a successful field goal, wonder if the refs have a good angle to make the correct call?
@dampedspring@aRishisays It was thought CSA would become standardized. Something like: 30 day Term SOFR = “z” bps of CSA; 60 days= z+_” bps; etc. While prevalent, other options: a) static adjustment regardless of term; or b) no CSA (theory = lender builds it into the credit spread of the borrower)
@dampedspring@aRishisays Term SOFR + CSA (Credit Spread Adjustment) + x bps. Term SOFR + CSA is an attempt to “mimic” LIBOR (unsecured) to more accurately reflect the marginal unsecured cost of funds of the lender vs SOFR (secured COF). The “x” bps is the credit risk of the borrower.
