@NattoliLynn@EricLDaugh Good for your grandmother, in those days you went to the American Embassy said that you wanted to immigrate and were granted a green card. Now, nobody whose only ability to survive is cleaning houses, gardening, cooking, or any manual labor would be granted a green card.
@WallStreetApes Do it the right way. Educate yourself, read a lot, if possible go to college but read a lot, be hungry for knowledge, learn something new everyday.
@Politica_ECpe@DelLoyola Humberto Chirif tiene un doctorado en Alemania y una carrera impecable, esperemos que si lo sustituyen por lo menos sea con alguien similar y no por un “profesional” que con las justas tiene bachillerato.
@thevirdas I empathize with America being on top of the world due to all the beautiful minds that immigrated thanks to these visas. The founders of many of these IT companies were not born in the US but given their intelligence were granted fellowships, etc to attend American universities
@MilaLovesJoe Your stats are not accurate, international students are around 17 to 18% of the undergraduate population. They pay full tuition. Grad students get Teaching Assistanships or Research Assistantships and typically Americans take priority.
